The Chez Solution offers a cost effective means to block unauthorized portable
mass storage devices in an enterprise IT environment. With the growing demand
by financial, defense, healthcare and other sensitive industries, and corporate
businesses globally for higher levels of security protection on their data, Chez will
mitigate the risk of data pilferage and loss.
Enterprises will find Chez useful as the software can be customized to meet the
needs of different organizations by allowing only authorized employees to access
their corporate information through the use of an authorized portable storage
media – the Chez enabled ThumbDrive® USB flash drives. The use of the Chez
Solution will prevent ALL unauthorized portable mass storage devices, including
USB flash drives and external USB hard disks from accessing the corporate
environment. Chez further enhances the biometric and AES encryption features
that are currently incorporated in security-enabled ThumbDrive® USB flash
drives.
Moreover, with Chez, enterprises can mitigate the risks of sabotage by external
agencies using portable storage media. It can also prevent leakages of
confidential information in the event of the misplacement, loss and or theft of
USB-enabled portable external storage devices.
Chez can run on Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. It supports
both admin and user modes. Chez is available in two different versions – the
Chez ThumbDrive® Mini (with password protection) and the Chez ThumbDrive®
Swipe (with biometrics protection), both products come with AES encryption
using 256-bit key length. It is built to industrial specifications which
encompasses solution upgradeability too.
Trek is the original innovator of the USB flash drive technology. With part of its
